En el Mod Starman para GTA Vice City tenia previsto que solamente en el mod XTREME SPEED se utilizase el efecto de llamas saliendo del tubo de escape, pero accidentalmente mientras preparaba el instalador para subirlo a internet el archivo particle.cfg original fué reemplazado por el nuevo y por eso teneis el efecto de llamas en el tubo de escape en todos los Mods de script incluidos en el Mod Starman.

Para solucionarlo pongo aqui el enlace para descargar el archivo particle.cfg original que debeis copiar y pegar en la carpeta DATA del juego.

(viene comprimido con winzip, pero como windows XP trae soporte para archivos zip pues no necesitais ningun programa para descomprimirlo, aunque tambien os servian winzip y winrar.)

Para aquellos a los que no os guste ese efecto y querais desactivarlo en todos los .exe ademas de copiar este archivo a la carpeta data, podeis hacer una copia de este archivo particle.cfg y renombrar la copia como particl2.cfg y sutituir el archivo que ya existe con ese nombre en la carpeta data.

The Exhaust Flames FX was only intended to be present when playing in XTREME SPEED MOD.exe but because a mistake i made when setting up the installer for GTA Vice city STARMAN MOD it is enabled when playing in all the EXEs, so this is a Patch for fixing this little problem.

If you want to remove the exhaust flames effect in all EXEs but Xtreme Speed Mod Then:

- Donwload the original file particle.zip
if this link doesn’t work try this one
- Extract the particle.cfg file (you can use winzip or winrar or windows XP file explorer).
- Copy particle.cfg to the data folder of the game.

If you don’t like at all the exhaust flames effect and you also want to disable it completly in all EXEs then:

- make a copy of the original particle.cfg file and renaming it to particl2.cfg
- paste it in the data folder replacing the particl2.cfg file already there.
